Breath Connect ยท A short practice
You Don't Need a Deep Breath
A gentle practice for the moments when someone says "take a deep breath" and your body says no. Breathe the way you can.
Begin exactly where you areWhat you will hear
Listen or watchWhen you are anxious, tired, or overwhelmed, a big deep breath can feel forced, or even make things worse. In this short guided practice, Heather invites you to let the breath be exactly the size it already is. You will notice the breath where it naturally lives, soften around it a little, and let a slightly longer exhale arrive on its own, without pushing.
This is a practice for real moments: a hard morning, a tight chest, a day that will not slow down. Listen with your eyes closed, or watch along for the gentle cues.
